The strategic planning council is made up of the steering committee and community stakeholders. The planning council will be instrumental in providing data for the community needs assessment, implementing tobacco cessation policies; engaging community-based organizations and stakeholders; identifying policies that promote tobacco cessation and hinder tobacco cessation efforts; and dissemination of information and resources.
